Quality Builders Warranty (QBW) is the administrator of a national ten-year new home warranty program insured by Liberty Mutual and offered on all Kay Builders homes. QBW works hard to enroll only quality builders into their exclusive program.

QBW has a Builder of Integrity™ Award that recognizes builders who meet strict standards for quality construction, financial stability and exceptional customer service. Builders are eligible for the Builder of Integrity™ Award every other year. Kay Builders has received this award each and every year that we were eligible.

Before being eligible for the 15-Year Achievement Award, a builder must have previously won the Builder of Integrity™ Award.

How Kay Builders Qualified for the 15-Year Achievement Award

The Builder of Integrity™ Award is a great achievement in its own right. This award shows a true commitment to quality by the builder. To be awarded the 15-Year Achievement Award, a builder must hold that commitment to quality over the long term. To be considered for this prestigious award, a builder must:

● Maintain a Long-Term Membership with QBW: The builder must have been an active member in the QBW program, meeting all criteria for membership every year for at least 15 years and have received the Builder of Integrity™ award at least once during that time.

● Low Complaint Ratio: Selection for the 15-Year Achievement Award is heavily weighted on maintaining a consistently low (less than 5%) homeowner complaint ratio throughout their entire time as a QBW member.

● Stringent Screening Standards: Year after year, builders must continually pass QBW's rigorous vetting process which includes:

• Technical Excellence: QBW conducts regular evaluations of construction quality and technical craftsmanship.
• Professionalism & Ethics: The builder must maintain a proven track record of ethical business practices and "professional dealing" with clients.
• Financial Stability: QBW conducts regular screenings to ensure the builder remains financially stable and solvent.
• Exclusivity: Only a small percentage of builders nationwide meet the ongoing standards required to eventually receive this 15-year recognition.

Kay Builders has remained in the QBW program for 15 years, and met all of these exclusive criteria year after year. This clearly demonstrates the quality delivered by Kay Builders over the long-term. In recognizing this achievement, Quality Builders Warranty cited Kay Builders commitment to excellence in customer service and quality construction and noted Kay Builders’ exceptionally low complaint ratio during their membership (since 2010).
